Owuraku departed as Joy News’ Prime Sports host in 2022 to join TV3 Ghana the following year.

During his tenure at Ashesi University, he was also named Ubora Sports Man of the Year. Owuraku was named one of Avance Media’s 50 Most Influential Young Ghanaians in 2021.
